◆丹波篠山の午年で馬にゆかりの在る春日神社と京都南丹市のかやぶきの里めぐりのプチ旅を楽しんできました。
京都府南丹市美山町知井「かやぶきの里」を望む
◆かやぶきの里・北村に近づくと、そばを流れる由良川(美山川)から刈り取った「かや」を干していました。話によるとかやぶき屋根職人は現在一人しか、居ないそうで心配ですね!!。
先日に降った雪で里のあちこちには雪が残っていて「かやぶきの里」を印象付けていました。
◆北村は５０戸の集落でうち38棟がかやぶき屋根で現在も住宅で暮らして居られ「伝統的建造物保存地区」に指定されていて世界遺産登録をめざし活動をされているとの話でした。
「かやぶきの里」入口のポスト付近が撮影のベストスポットだそうでした。

私も、一度美山町は、訪ねて見たいと思っています。
