●１２月１４日、いきいき堺市民大学の「体験・見学講座」の参加しました。堺東駅徒歩２０分の所にある「ベルタウン」（堺区南安井町）です。特別養護老人ホーム、介護老人保健施設、通所サービス、そして保育園もある「複合型老人保健施設」です。「『愛の医療と福祉』の実践が地域全体へ伝わることを目標とする」という。

●施設内を見学して感じたことは、利用者の目線に立った施設空間と安らぎのある運営がなされていることでした。各部屋の居住性を高め、廊下を広くして、利用者の寛げる空間にしています。
また保育園の子供たちとの交流、テラスでの菜園、カラオケ・映画などが楽しめる小ホールなどがありました。スタッフも一生懸命に利用者のケアをしていました。こんな施設であれば利用者も満足ゆくのではと思いました。
