◆10月7日(日)櫻井神社の秋季祭は朝から豊田,釜室,栂,片蔵,泉田中の各地区のだんじりの宮入りと国宝の拝殿前で清袚い(きよはらい)がおこなわれます。だんじりの宮出しの後、国神社の氏子の宮入で、合祀された櫻井神社へ「こおどり」の奉納が行われます。(上神谷こおどり保存会資料)

◆市長のお祝いの挨拶の後、櫻井神社の神主による清袚い(きよはらい)が行われました。
◆国の無形民俗文化財「こおどり」は、古来鉢ケ峯寺氏子が国神社に奉納して来た神事舞踊である。音頭取の歌に合せて「ひめこ」を背負った赤黒の鬼神と、三尺棒を持った赤黒の天狗四人を中心に、一文字笠紋付に締太鼓を持った太鼓打八人と鐘打、扇振が新発知を先頭に外踊、鐘と大鼓の囃子で踊る古典的な郷土芸能で、明治４３年国神社が桜井神社に合祀されて以来その秋祭に奉納されている。(上神谷こおどり保存会資料)
